How to Install CM 12.1 Android 5.1.1 Stable ROM for Galaxy S5 Duos LTE.

The CM 12.1 Stable or Snapshot builds are better optimized and bug-free when compared to the CM 12.1 Nightly releases. These builds are based on the AOSP Android 5.1.1 releases, and this means that you will get all the stock Lollipop functions along with extra CyanogenMod-based features and components.

÷ Prerequisites:

•Use this tutorial only with the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE Duos.
– the models supported are SM- G900FD and SM – G900MD.
– check the version of your device under Settings> About Phone menu.

•Your device has to be on a rooted firmware.

•Also, a CWM or TWRP-based Custom Recovery needs to be installed on it.
– the installed Recovery has to be upgraded to its latest version, so that it will allow you to flash a brand new Android 5.1.1-based custom ROM.

•Check the battery charge of your device, it has to be over 50%, as it will prevent the smartphone from powering off during installation.
