How To Install Android 7.0 Nougat CM14 on Sony Xperia Z C6603.

According to XDA Member Chippa_a, Android 7.0 Nougat CM14 CyanogenMod 14 is now released for Sony Xperia Z.



÷ Known Issues:

•Camcorder : Broken, common Nougat issue for us
•LED: May work incorrectly

÷ Prerequisites:

•This tutorial is only for installing Android 7.0 Nougat CM14 (CyanogenMod 14) on Sony Xperia Z C6603 .Please do not try on any other Sony Xperia Z Variants.

•Sony PC Companion will NOT detect your phone after installing this ROM because it is a custom firmware.

•Bootloader should be unlocked or you will not be able to install this ROM.

•Your phone should have a custom recovery installed in order to install this NanoROM ROM on your phone.

•We will be using TWRP Recovery for this tutorial.

•This tutorial will wipe out all your data. Make sure you backup all your data in your phone before proceeding.

•Perform a Dalvik Cache wipe before proceeding from the Recovery Mode.

1-Download the latest build
2-Place ROM in your SD card or Internal Storage
3-Reboot into recovery mode
4-Full wipe and factory reset (recommended)
5-Flash ROM (ignoring E:unknown command [log] for now)
6-Reboot

÷ Update Instructions:

1-Download the latest build of CyanogenMod 14.0
2-Place the build in your SD card or Internal Storage
3-Reboot into recovery mode
4-Wipe cache and dalvik cache
5-Flash build
6-Reboot.
